VCBynum Arts & Education will host Humanity: A Full Circle Moment, a special fundraiser and celebration event on December 7, 2025, at Bellevue College, marking two decades of empowering communities through dance and artistic expression.
The Bellevue, Washington-based nonprofit organization will bring together artists, community leaders, and supporters for an evening featuring live performances, inspiring stories, and a celebration honoring the organization's founder. The event will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM PST at Bellevue College's Building U on the third floor.

The fundraiser will feature multiple ways for attendees to support the organization's mission, including raffles, a silent auction, a dessert dash, and raise-the-paddle activities. Complete event details and ticket information can be found at https://www.weinspirehumanity.org/humanity-a-full-circle-moment.
American actor and arts advocate Hill Harper will deliver the keynote address, while Sharon Nyree Williams will serve as emcee for the evening. Additional special guests include Trish Millines Dziko, founder of Technology Access Foundation, who will reflect on the organization's journey, along with performances by Egypt Savaan and The Amazing Throwbacks.
"This milestone event represents twenty years of connecting artists who might not typically collaborate due to gentrification and other barriers," said Vania Bynum, founder of VCBynum Arts & Education. "Through dance, poetry, music, and other artistic expressions, we have worked to amplify the voices of the African diaspora and other communities of color while addressing critical needs like food insecurity."
The evening will also honor several community partners who have been instrumental in the organization's growth, including Edna Daigre, founder of EWAJO Dance, members of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina Benefit planning committee, and Reverend Dr. Leslie D. Braxton of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship. A portion of the proceeds from the event will support initiatives addressing food insecurity in local communities.
More information about the organization's programs and upcoming events can be found on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/vcbynum.
