The expansion at the company's 4051 Clark Road manufacturing facility adds 8,000 square feet of production space and introduces new equipment for custom mattress fabrication. The expanded delivery network now covers mattress store in Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Naples, North Port, and Venice, with the addition of three delivery vehicles and six new delivery personnel. The company reports that delivery volume to Naples specifically has increased by 60 percent over the past year, prompting the establishment of a dedicated Naples delivery route operating three days per week.
The manufacturer's product line includes five primary models designed for different support preferences. The Cloud 11th model features the American Comfort2000 Pocketed Coil System with 2.5-inch mini comfort micro coils. The Diamond model incorporates Energex and pulse latex foam for medium-firm support. The Infinity model utilizes a three-zoned pocketed coil system with hypoallergenic latex foam. The Paradise model offers the American Comfort800 Pocketed Coil System, while the SRQ model provides firm support configurations.
Recent additions to the company's manufacturing capabilities include specialized equipment for marine and RV mattress production, addressing the technical requirements of mobile living spaces. These custom applications require precise cutting equipment to accommodate irregular shapes and specific foam densities suitable for marine environments.
The expansion coincides with new Florida Department of Health regulations requiring enhanced ventilation systems in mattress manufacturing facilities, which the company has incorporated into its facility upgrades. The new systems exceed state requirements by 20 percent, according to compliance documentation filed with regulatory authorities.
