These include fake government websites charging fees for free services and third-party schemes offering to arrange financial documentation. Foreign residents are advised to rely only on official government platforms and verified legal advisors when handling immigration-related matters.
Despite the stricter environment, the Chiang Mai law firm notes that legitimate travelers and residents with properly structured legal status are unlikely to face disruption.
