Speed Friending Experience: Everyone welcome! Join us after the ceremonies for a gentle speed-friending experience designed for easy conversation, laughter, and the chance to make new friends and special connections.

In addition to a beautiful marriage vow renewal ceremony, Lantern Crest acknowledges and honors those who could not be here with us today but are forever in our hearts. Chaplain Michelle Tiernan will invite widows and widowers to share in a very special moment of remembrance and reflection as we honor and acknowledge those loves we’ve lost who cannot be with us this Valentine’s Day.
“Every day, we are surrounded by so many beautiful love stories”, Thomas, shared. “But, for many of our seniors, their partners are no longer with us. Lost loves also deserve special moments to be remembered, celebrated, and reflected upon, as they are forever in our hearts”.
New this year, following the ceremonies and refreshments, all guests are invited to participate in a gentle speed-friending experience.
"Meeting new people and making friends can be challenging at any age," Thomas added. "That's why we're thrilled to introduce our new speed-friending experience this year. It's designed to be fun, relaxed, and pressure-free. Whether our guests are looking to expand their social circle, make new friends, or simply connect with others in the community, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet people in a warm, welcoming environment. Meaningful friendships and connections can begin at any age, and we're honored to help facilitate those moments."
The event is free and open to the public, welcoming not only residents but anyone in the community who wishes to celebrate enduring love and new friendships.
