Algo Trading Space, algorithmic trading company that reviews trading robots and software and provides educational programs, has launched Account Tracker, a browser-based monitoring platform that gathers performance data from MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 accounts and presents it on a single dashboard. The platform became publicly available in September 2026 and is intended for traders and strategy developers who operate portfolios of automated systems, commonly called expert advisors or robots, across several brokers and account types. The company developed the platform after its own team lost reliable tracking data when an outside service repeatedly disconnected its accounts, a problem that first surfaced about one year before the launch.

According to the company, its team follows hundreds of accounts every day, including live accounts, proprietary trading firm accounts and demo accounts, and any interruption in updates leaves open positions and drawdown unobserved until the connection is restored. Drawing on more than ten years of experience trading automated strategies and on more than one year of dedicated development work, the company built its own tracker, first for internal use and afterward for outside traders, who can register through the company website and begin tracking without an upfront payment.

The platform relies on a lightweight expert advisor that traders attach to one chart in their MetaTrader terminal, with a separate build available for each version of the trading software. The expert advisor reads the account state and trade history and transmits them to the browser dashboard. The company states that the component holds no trading permissions, cannot place, modify or close trades, and does not collect passwords, login credentials or banking details. Setup is described as taking about ten minutes, with balance and equity typically appearing within a minute of activation and the trade history following as the terminal synchronizes. Traders may also choose a custom start date, which allows an account with an existing history to begin a fresh tracking record without opening a new account.

The dashboard reports balance, equity, floating profit and loss, margin and drawdown for every connected account, and the drawdown figure is measured live, including open positions, which the company identifies as the number that prop firms and risk managers actually monitor. Each closed trade is recorded with its symbol, direction, size and duration, and results can be broken down by magic number, symbol and order comment, the identifiers that show which robot is responsible for profit or losses on a given currency pair. A notes function also creates a snapshot of balance and equity each time a trader records a change to an account, which gives later reviews a reference point for what was altered and when.

Several functions belong to a paid Pro tier. A backtest-versus-live analyzer overlays a MetaTrader Strategy Tester report on the live record so that differences caused by slippage, spread or missed trades can be examined, and an artificial intelligence feature lets traders put questions to their data in natural language. A portfolio builder screens connected accounts against criteria such as minimum trading history, maximum historical drawdown and target balance, then produces combinations of strategies with suggested allocations. The company notes that the output is informational and does not constitute financial advice, and that any suggested portfolio should be checked through backtesting and demonstration trading before it is used with real capital. Alerts covering equity changes, drawdown thresholds, balance shifts and connectivity problems can be delivered to Discord, Telegram or the browser.

The Pro tier further includes access to a programming interface and to a server built on the Model Context Protocol, which allow the tracked data to flow into spreadsheets, custom dashboards or artificial intelligence assistants. In a demonstration published on the company's YouTube channel, an assistant connected to the server produced a chart of live account profits over the previous seven days, divided by account name, from a single typed instruction. Traders can also export the equity curve and the terminal trade history for analysis in spreadsheet software or other tools.

A free plan is offered without a payment card and covers up to five connected accounts, with live balance, equity, floating profit and loss, drawdown, a trade journal, statistics and in-app alerts. New accounts receive 14 days of Pro functions at the start, after which they move to the free plan automatically. Read-only share links allow a trader to present a verified record to investors, prop firms or online communities without disclosing account credentials, and members of the company's premium membership club receive the complete suite as part of that membership.

As of September 3, 2026, the tracker database held data from 1,187 connected accounts, made up of the company's own accounts and those belonging to members, along with 781,911 closed trades, the earliest of which dates to 2020. The platform works with any broker and supports live, demonstration and prop firm accounts. The company describes the product as a reporting layer and not a trading platform, adds that it is not designed for manual traders who want a basic journal or for those seeking trading signals, and recommends running the terminal on a virtual private server so that data continues to flow around the clock.

"We follow hundreds of accounts every day, and each time the updates stopped we were effectively trading blind, which cost us money," a spokesperson for Algo Trading Space said. "After more than a year of development we ended up with a tracker that reflects the true state of the terminal, and we opened it to other traders because the same problem affects anyone running automated strategies. Every figure on the dashboard comes directly from the terminal, and the system is meant to report on the strategies traders already run, not to replace their decisions."

Algo Trading Space is an algorithmic trading company whose website, algotradingspace.com, brings together trading robots, trading software, an academy with courses, a free algorithmic trading course and published results from live, funded and challenge accounts. The company also maintains a YouTube channel and a Discord community where traders can submit feature requests and share findings. Trading in foreign exchange carries a high level of risk, and the materials the company publishes are educational and are not trading advice.
